It's something I can't do anything about.
If it is a step of love that carries pain,

But as long as I don't give up love for love's sake,

그대가 나를 한 순간 반짝이다 사라질 사랑의 신기루라 여길지라도,
어느 날 그대의 낡은 앨범 속의 빛바랜 사진으로 사라질지라도,
그대의 기억속 망각의 저편으로 한 때의 님으로 묻혀 버릴지라도,
정말 내가 그대의 속절없는 웃음으로 사라질지라도
어찌 할 수 없는 일이 되겠지요.
고통을 안고 내디딘 사랑의 발걸음이라면
어차피 모든 고통은 내게 있으니까요.
하지만 내가 사랑을 위한 사랑을 마다하지 않는 한
그대는 내 가슴속에 영원히 꺼지지 않는 불꽃으로 타오를 겁니다.
